Hi friend

I hope your lead up to Christmas has been filled with wonderful festivities, and the chance to celebrate Jesus - the reason for the season!

As promised to my dear subscribers, a bonus for signing up to Grace Lane is receiving poems or previews of books before they’re released. And so, I’m excited to share with you the first two poems from my poetry book that’s released soon called Hope Restoring: Modern Day Psalms to Comfort and Inspire.

How did it come about? A little while ago, I’d had a creative thought come to mind from God that was about ‘prayer poems’. I thought this was interesting, and suddenly a poem found it’s way from my heart to a pen, then ‘Shepherd in the Storm’ came alive on a piece of paper. I was amazed as I don’t usually write poetry, but more prayer poems soon followed with a resonating theme of finding hope, light and comfort in God during tough times. I likened the book as a whole to being like a friend who sits beside you during tough times, relating to what you going through, and helping you to look upwards to see God’s light-filled hope beaming through the darkness.
