Check out this amazing photo coming up that has inspired this new post! One morning, the sun rising above the ocean in a spectacular way caught my attention as it often does, but what was developing was something different…

It’s mid-winter here at the moment, and freezing cold in the mornings, but I dashed out to capture something to share with you. I was amazed to see dark, scary-looking clouds on one side, and the light emerging on the other, and with a clear line forming in the reflection on the ocean. The longer I stayed and watched (it was super cold, but I stayed as long as I could), the stronger the light and dark shades cast upon the waters. The darkness in the water’s reflection was getting stronger, but so was the light.

I was amazed, and took some photos quickly, as you know I love take photos of the ocean and the sun. It’s incredible how fast sunrises and sunsets change by the second. I asked God what He was wanting to show or tell me through this stunning sunrise, as it felt like it was no accident that I was seeing this sunset at this particular time, and what I saw felt meaningful.
